What you will do
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to diverse technical and business audiences.
- Lead Proof of Value (POV) engagements to validate that the platform meets specific prospect requirements.
- Create technical documentation, including RFP responses and competitive analysis, to support the sales cycle.
- Provide technical support for tradeshows and industry events.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop customer rapport and drive successful sales outcomes.
- Travel to customer sites for face-to-face meetings during critical stages of the sales process.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- BS/BA degree in EE, CS, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, specifically within network monitoring, management, or cloud services.
- Proven technical pre-sales experience with ITOM, APM, or ITSM solutions.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX, TCP/IP, SNMP, Syslog, PowerShell, and ITIL frameworks.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, XML/JSON, YANG/NETCONF, or Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Public Sector requirements.
