Focus on conducting Proof of Value (POV) engagements, delivering high-impact product demonstrations, and translating technical infrastructure advantages into clear business outcomes.

What you will do

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to diverse technical and business audiences.
  • Lead Proof of Value (POV) engagements to validate that the platform meets specific prospect requirements.
  • Create technical documentation, including RFP responses and competitive analysis, to support the sales cycle.
  • Provide technical support for tradeshows and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop customer rapport and drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Travel to customer sites for face-to-face meetings during critical stages of the sales process.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • BS/BA degree in EE, CS, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, specifically within network monitoring, management, or cloud services.
  • Proven technical pre-sales experience with ITOM, APM, or ITSM solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX, TCP/IP, SNMP, Syslog, PowerShell, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python, XML/JSON, YANG/NETCONF, or Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of Public Sector requirements.
