What you will do

  • Provide technical support and expertise for SIS batch and on-line technology environments.
  • Manage the installation, maintenance, and updates of application software in both test and production environments.
  • Translate business requirements into non-functional requirements and validate technical solutions.
  • Develop and execute non-functional test strategies, plans, and cases.
  • Interface with SIS Service Delivery teams and communicate progress to Project Managers and stakeholders.
  • Document installation instructions and capture testing metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting IBM Mainframe technologies in production environments.
  • Proficiency in ISPF, JCL, SDSF, DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ, and IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS).
  • Experience with Host Scripting (Rexx, shell) and Unix System Services.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model in Toronto, ON.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
