What you will do

• Underwrite and negotiate new business and renewal cyber risks within authority.
• Manage key renewal accounts with a focus on profitable retention.
• Build and strengthen trading relationships with broker partners to position the company as a preferred market.
• Act as a technical referral point and support the development of less experienced underwriters.
• Review broker-generated quotes and articulate product value to secure placements.
• Manage workflow through internal underwriting and e-trade platforms like Acturis.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK.
• At least 3 years of experience underwriting cyber insurance.
• Proven track record in managing both new business and renewals.
• Strong existing broker and market relationships.
• Confidence in handling referrals and mentoring team members.
• Experience with e-trade platforms (Acturis preferred).
