What you will do

• Manage binding authorities and maintain strong broker relationships.
• Underwrite new and existing risks presented via various channels.
• Develop new business opportunities across the US, Canada, and Caribbean markets.
• Contribute to product development, pricing refinement, and contract reviews.
• Support the enhancement of underwriting systems, control processes, and reporting suites.
• Conduct market research and attend client events to represent the brand.

Requirements

• Proven experience in high-value home underwriting.
• Demonstrable experience with delegated property authorities.
• Strong mathematical literacy and interest in technical pricing.
• Excellent communication skills for oral and written interactions.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Progress towards or completion of ACII qualification.

Nice to have

• Experience with US and Canadian property markets.
• Background as a lead market underwriter.
• Understanding of catastrophe models and their impact on risk portfolios.
• Interest in data analytics.
