TL;DR
Specialist Finance Europe South (FP&A/Controlling): Provide accurate financial reporting, analysis, and scenario-based forecasting to support business decisions with an accent on actual vs. budget/forecast variance analysis and performance management across multiple countries. What you will do
- Perform financial analyses and prepare periodic reports; monitor key indicators (actual vs. budget, prior year, forecast) and recommend improvements.
- Support routine and ad-hoc financial collaboration between country/cluster teams and the Shared Services Center.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and oversee forecasts submission according to agreed standards.
- Lead process improvements and standardization, driving automation and continuous improvement and sharing best practices.
- Review first-level analyses to explain variances and validate forecast scenarios, assumptions, and gaps/surpluses.
- Support multiple countries and peak periods, monitor performance against service levels, and keep process documentation up to date.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in a relevant finance role with proven analytical skills and business acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Strong finance knowledge in business support finance and/or factory FP&A/controlling, with commercial environment experience.
- Experience in cross-functional/matrix environments and ability to build partnerships with business stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues/opportunities, and propose proactive solutions/alternatives.
- Fluent English.
