What you will do

• Manage a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious professional indemnity and liability matters.
• Provide expert advice on complex coverage issues, including D&O and cyber risks.
• Lead case strategy, reserves, and delivery plans from a defendant’s perspective.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and administrative staff.
• Drive business development initiatives and build strong client relationships.
• Support the expansion of the Professional Risks practice with a focus on London Market work.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with the ability to work from the Manchester office.
• Extensive experience in professional indemnity or liability insurance claims (defendant-side).
• Strong background in insurance-focused litigation and policy coverage advice.
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently.
• Capability to supervise and support junior colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills and a commercial, client-focused approach.
