What you will do

• Advise on all aspects of insured risk transfer arrangements for the pensions de-risking business.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate complex transaction documentation for buy-in/buy-out and longevity swap deals.
• Manage external counsel and build relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Support strategic corporate projects and navigate regulatory change requirements.
• Act as a business partner to relevant business teams to drive innovative de-risking solutions.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials.
• Deep understanding of the pension sector, specifically the de-risking market.
• Proven experience in advising on bulk annuity transactions and defined benefit pension scheme de-risking.
• Experience with longevity swap transactions and funded/longevity reinsurance.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Must be based in London or able to work from the London office.
