What you will do

  • Manage a caseload of EL/PL delegated authority fixed fee cases on behalf of insurance clients.
  • Handle pre-action disclosure files and Infant Approval Hearings.
  • Perform legal research and review evidence, including medical and personnel records.
  • Instruct counsel and experts, attend conferences, and take notes during trials.
  • Draft Tomlin Orders, Consent Orders, and cost schedules.
  • Liaise with insured parties, claimant solicitors, and witnesses.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet client SLAs.
  • Good literacy and IT skills.
  • Must be based in the UK (Hybrid in Bolton).

Nice to have

  • Previous personal injury file handling experience.
  • Legal education such as ILEX, LPC, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience handling EL/PL caseloads.
  • Previous litigation experience and good advocacy skills.
