TL;DR

FP&A Manager (Finance): Driving financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis efforts with an accent on building complex financial models and delivering actionable insights to leadership. Focus on partnering cross-functionally to support business decision-making, long-range planning, and scaling the FP&A function.

Location: Must be based in the Chicagoland area. This is a hybrid position.

What you will do

  • Lead the development and maintenance of financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, incorporating key business drivers.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide data-driven insights to executive leadership.
  • Partner with department leaders to monitor expenses, improve cost controls, and track performance.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure business performance, including revenue and profitability.
  • Mentor FP&A analysts and help build scalable processes and reporting infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with experience building forward-looking models.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Sage Intacct, HubSpot, or similar systems.
