What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams across web, iOS, Android, and backend services.
• Set the engineering strategy for listing and evaluation experiences to improve customer confidence.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and AI teams to deliver high-impact shopping journeys.
• Guide the development of AI-powered features to differentiate the platform.
• Drive execution through clear goals, prioritization, and measurable improvements in reliability.
• Coach and grow engineering leaders and managers to build healthy, high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Extensive experience leading multiple software engineering teams through managers.
• Proven track record of delivering consumer-facing product experiences at scale.
• Strong technical judgment regarding architecture, system evolution, and delivery tradeoffs.
• Ability to translate broad business goals into clear engineering direction.
• Experience building AI-powered customer experiences.
