• Drive product and technical strategy across Math, Music, and Chess subjects.
• Lead multiple engineering directors and their teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Partner with Product, Design, and AI teams to evolve the platform strategy.
• Ensure operational excellence in reliability, performance, and developer productivity.
• Oversee hiring, leveling, and organizational design to maintain a high-performance team.
• Translate product insights into measurable business impact through rapid experimentation.

Requirements

• Must be able to work from the New York, NY office on a 4+1 hybrid schedule.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale consumer product engineering organizations (100+ engineers).
• Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes and scaling early-stage products.
• Deep experience building and scaling high-velocity, experiment-driven organizations.
• Experience with LLM-powered features and AI-first engineering cultures.
• Ability to influence senior executives and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
