Salary: $204,000–$280,000 (USD) depending on location

What you will do
- Lead a multi-team product area by translating company priorities into actionable engineering plans.
- Manage and coach engineering managers to improve performance, growth, and delivery standards.
- Drive technical excellence by overseeing architecture, system reliability, and incident response.
- Partner with product and design leads to co-own roadmaps, quarterly goals, and quality bars.
- Formalize interfaces with the platform organization to ensure clean service migrations.
- Promote AI-native development practices and maintain high standards for observability and delivery flow.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States with significant hours overlap with Americas time zones.
- 7+ years of total technical experience with a strong background in individual contribution.
- 2+ years of experience managing managers with direct reports.
- Proven track record of owning a multi-team product area and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Experience evolving engineering practices across multiple teams.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to articulate complex strategies.
Nice to have
- Experience in multi-product or multi-persona consumer and enterprise businesses.
- Experience leading remote-first, distributed engineering teams.
- Proven success using AI-native workflows to change team design and shipping processes.
- Existing network of high-quality engineering talent.
