Field Technician (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Remote in Saskatchewan, Canada; must reside in the Saskatoon area. Extensive provincial travel, including overnight stays, may be required up to 75% of the time.

Salary: CAD $22–$24 per hour.

What you will do

• Install energy-efficient lighting, water-saving devices, smart power bars, and smart thermostats in residential homes.
• Educate residents about product settings and energy-efficient usage.
• Conduct basic home energy assessments using a mobile app.
• Provide demonstrations, personalized energy-saving recommendations, and assessment reports.
• Track and maintain accurate inventory records for on-hand supplies.
• Travel throughout Saskatchewan and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be located in Saskatchewan and reside in the Saskatoon area.
• Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle required.
• At least one year of experience in residential construction, general labor, or handy work.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, kneel, and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Comfort using smart thermostats, power bars, mobile apps, and other technology.

Nice to have

• Experience with residential energy audits and reporting.
