What you will do

  • Provide insurance quotes and close sales using a consultative sales approach.
  • Support customers with quoting, selling, and servicing, including guidance on coverage and protection matters.
  • Deliver high-quality service across channels (phone, email, chat, text) to improve retention and loyalty.
  • Resolve customer complaints and seek management assistance when needed and in a timely manner.
  • Gather, process, consolidate, and analyze service data to support OnStar Insurance brand loyalty and retention.
  • Maintain a closed-loop feedback process, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate with other departments to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • Fluent English and Spanish.
  • Must hold a current Property and Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines license in at least one U.S. state, or be able to obtain it within 30 days of the start date.
  • Advanced knowledge of General Motors Insurance products, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with exceptional active listening; ability to influence customers during selling and servicing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and manage time with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute and effectively navigate multiple applications/systems.
