Customer Service Representative (Insurance)

Location: Remote USA; hybrid work is required if located near hirify.global offices in Pewaukee, Wisconsin; Omaha, Nebraska; Glen Allen, Virginia; or Henderson, Nevada. US work authorization is required.

Salary: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with a 5% annual performance bonus potential.

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing customers with insurance questions.
• Investigate customer concerns, resolve issues, and escalate matters when necessary.
• Provide clear, efficient, and professional information by phone.
• Strive for first-call resolution and build rapport that supports renewals and repeat business.
• Stay current on procedures, products, programs, and department standards.
• Maintain performance across schedule adherence, quality assurance, average handling time, speed of answer, and coding metrics.

Requirements

• At least two years of insurance sales or service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred; required for remote work outside hirify.global office locations.
• Strong computer, grammar, communication, and multitasking skills, including the ability to work across several systems.
• Ability to work reliably in a fast-paced team environment with consistent attendance.
• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Some college education.
• Previous remote working experience.
