What you will do
- Drive revenue and exceed pipeline targets within the assigned geographic region.
- Manage active sales opportunities using the MEDDPICC methodology.
- Navigate complex government procurement and funding processes to guide customers through buying cycles.
- Build and evolve territory plans to align with strategic company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to increase market awareness and streamline opportunity management.
- Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management regarding quarterly and yearly strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of field enterprise sales or business development experience in State & Local Government, AI, or enterprise software.
- Must be based in the region with the ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
- Proven understanding of State & Local Government procurement and funding models.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MEDDPICC, account strategy mapping, and opportunity planning.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Clari, and collaboration tools.
Nice to have
- Technical sales background in CCaaS, UCaaS, APIs, or cybersecurity.
- Documented history of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Established industry and public sector customer network.
