Senior Aerospace Engineer (R&D)

What you will do

• Design, analyze, develop, test, and qualify complex flight and engine control products.
• Develop mechatronic control systems using electronic, electromechanical, and electrohydraulic components and subsystems.
• Create mathematical performance models, 3D designs, and 2D engineering drawings.
• Develop assembly techniques, tooling, and qualification test methods.
• Prepare clear analysis and test reports and present technical details to customers.
• Estimate engineering task effort and durations while applying project management principles.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven aerospace engineering experience and competence in mechatronic control systems.
• Experience with performance modeling tools such as SPICE, Excel, Mathcad, MATLAB/Simulink, or FEA.
• Knowledge of aerospace materials, machining and fabrication processes, configuration control, and quality systems.
• Strong communication, teamwork, computer literacy, personal integrity, objectivity, and initiative.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance must be obtained and maintained.
