Senior RF Engineer (Radar)

What you will do

• Lead antenna and RF equipment development through internal and subcontracted work packages.
• Maintain RF and antenna designs for product improvements and component obsolescence management.
• Derive, specify, verify, and validate technical requirements.
• Provide RF and antenna design support to supply chain, quality, suppliers, customers, and manufacturing.
• Maintain production tests and perform trend analysis and root cause analysis for RF module issues.
• Plan and manage small work packages while maintaining engineering documentation and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Microwave-frequency PCB design, including schematic manipulation and layout definition or review.
• Knowledge of RF components such as high-power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, limiters, circulators, filters, mixers, and phase-locked loops.
• Experience with RF system design, including cascade analysis, and RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers.
• Knowledge of antenna theory, design, and testing, including array, slotted-array, and printed antennas.
• Experience with design for test, design for manufacture, and production environments including SMT processes.
• Good written and verbal English, with a self-motivated and collaborative working style.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium PCB Design Software and Altair RF and antenna design software.
• Knowledge of radar or related communications applications.
• Knowledge of digital electronics, power supply design, requirements management, or systems engineering.
• Experience with test automation using MATLAB or Python.
• Knowledge of EMC and regulatory requirements such as FCC, ITU, or ETSI standards.
