Construction Manager (Solar/BESS)

What you will do

• Monitor utility-scale solar and BESS construction projects as the owner's representative.
• Manage 3rd party EPC contractors to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct daily safety walks and enforce rigorous safety standards on-site.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including landowners, environmental agencies, and internal teams.
• Verify construction milestones and manage punch lists from mechanical completion to final project closeout.
• Utilize Procore and drone technology to track progress and document site conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of onsite utility-scale solar, battery storage, or substation construction management experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Expert knowledge of construction means, methods, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn construction management software like Procore.
• Must be willing to travel and work onsite 5 days a week in various environmental conditions.
• Must have valid work authorization for the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• FAA 107 drone pilot license.
