Managing Consultant - Corporate Finance - Healthcare Transaction Advisory (Healthcare)

Location: Nashville, TN. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Willingness to travel up to 40% when needed.

Salary: $120,000–$185,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support buy-side and sell-side diligence engagements for corporate finance transaction advisory clients.
• Perform quality of earnings, financial trend, working capital, benchmark, financial statement, and business plan analyses.
• Delegate work, supervise staff, and provide leadership across engagement activities.
• Collaborate with transaction advisory professionals, BRG experts, external advisors, and client contacts.
• Lead reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Identify purchase price adjustment issues and potential deal structuring insights while contributing to marketing and practice development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from a leading university.
• 5–7 years of experience, ideally in consulting or professional services; Big Four or multinational professional services experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the healthcare financial industry, with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage processes and staff, work independently on smaller transactions, and prioritize changing demands.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including interaction with senior management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, financial research tools, and experience with big data analysis, data visualization, or business intelligence tools.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• Familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or similar financial research tools.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of industry players, key industry drivers, and current trends.
• Ability to understand legal documents and complex agreements.
