Advisory Manager – Healthcare Risk Consulting (Healthcare Risk Consulting): Leading healthcare risk assessments, internal audits, compliance programs, and process improvement projects across clinical, financial, operational, IT, and regulatory domains with an accent on client leadership, internal controls, and risk mitigation. Focus on managing multiple engagements and teams, reviewing control gaps and remediation plans, and developing client relationships and new business opportunities.

Location: Dallas, United States; travel to meet client needs and collaboration both in-person and remotely are required.

Salary: $101,000–$203,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead healthcare risk assessments, internal audits, compliance programs, and process improvement engagements.
  • Assess clinical, financial, operational, IT, and regulatory risks, including process narratives, controls, gaps, remediation, and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage client relationships at management and C-suite levels, lead interviews and closing meetings, and coordinate external stakeholders.
  • Oversee engagement economics, billing expectations, collections, project milestones, deliverables, and multiple client teams.
  • Manage, motivate, mentor, and develop consulting teams while contributing to training and firm leadership development.
  • Support business development through industry relationships, proposals, thought leadership, prospect discussions, scoping, delivery plans, and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline; a master’s in health administration or public health is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in healthcare internal audit, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, or related internal control roles.
  • Experience leading project-based work with defined objectives, milestones, workflows, and timelines.
  • Professional writing, spreadsheet, presentation, communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Relevant professional certification and experience across multiple industries or deep subject-matter expertise in one industry.
  • Ability to travel for client needs and collaborate both in person and remotely.
