What you will do

• Build backend services and data pipelines to securely store, process, and route sensitive customer data.
• Develop systems for token issuance, user authentication, and anonymization to meet privacy requirements.
• Define the vision for authentication across AI platforms, intelligent agents, and MCP ecosystems.
• Implement data retention and deletion workflows compliant with CCPA and GDPR standards.
• Partner with access management teams to enforce least-privilege controls across the platform.
• Contribute to monitoring and auditing systems to track data access and usage patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in backend systems, data infrastructure, or security.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience building and operating services in cloud environments like AWS and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed systems including databases, messaging systems, or data processing frameworks.
• Understanding of data protection principles like encryption and privacy-focused system design.
• Must be able to work from the Bellevue, WA office at least 3 days per week.
