Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, with occasional travel to the New York City headquarters

Salary: $200,000–$255,000 per year, plus equity incentives and benefits

What you will do

• Lead technical strategy and decision-making for assigned domains.
• Use AI to build, optimize, and maintain software systems.
• Work with AWS, Kubernetes, and other technologies as system load continues to grow.
• Mentor and support early-career engineers.
• Collaborate across disciplines to understand the healthcare domain and iterate on projects.
• Protect user privacy and security through engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Generalist software engineering mindset with the ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques.
• Experience building complex systems with AI coding agents, including Claude Code.
• Ability to learn quickly and mentor other engineers.
• Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance.
• Comfort with remote work and occasional travel to the New York City headquarters.
