Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City office; required attendance three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Salary: $230,000–$285,000 per year, plus equity incentives and benefits.

• Lead technical strategy and decision-making for assigned domains.
• Use AI to build, optimize, and maintain software systems.
• Mentor and develop early-career engineers.
• Collaborate across disciplines to understand the healthcare domain and iterate on projects.
• Protect user privacy and security through strong engineering practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Generalist engineering mindset with the ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques.
• Experience building complex systems with AI coding agents, including Claude Code.
• Ability to learn quickly and mentor others.
• Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance.
• Willingness to work from the New York City office three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
