Senior Software Engineer, Product Platform (Fintech)

Location: Remote; candidates must be located in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 annual US salary plus equity.

What you will do

• Build reliable, secure, and scalable backend systems for the Product Platform.
• Improve the reliability of platform systems and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Own projects from planning through launch across API key management, reliability, audit logging, and search.
• Improve systems and development processes within the team.
• Keep stakeholders aligned throughout product development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production backend systems, ideally public-facing APIs at scale.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Rust, plus the ability to work with Python and Java systems.
• Experience with API design fundamentals, including versioning, backward compatibility, and schema-driven development.
• Ability to design systems from scratch and own product development end to end.
• Strong written communication, practical decision-making, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
• Must be located in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic; visa sponsorship or assistance is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with public-facing APIs at scale.
• Interest and experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
