TL;DR
Market Research Analyst (Fintech): Analyzing and interpreting competitive market research to support business development and strategic planning with an accent on quantitative data synthesis and stakeholder communication. Focus on designing primary research programs, identifying financial industry trends, and managing strategic projects for the Corporate Affairs group.
Location: Must be based in Canada with valid work authorization. The role follows a hybrid schedule, currently based in Toronto (483 Bay Street) with a transition to Mississauga (3 Robert Speck Parkway) in late 2026.
Salary: $94,000–$117,000 CAD annually.

What you will do
- Assist with primary research programs including questionnaire design, sampling, and data collection.
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to prepare actionable research reports and dashboards.
- Support business lines with demand analysis and competitive positioning to identify industry trends.
- Collaborate with industry-leading research partners to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee strategic projects for the Corporate Affairs group, including scheduling and risk identification.
- Build rapport and credibility with internal stakeholders and business leaders.
Requirements
- Must have valid work authorization for Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a quantitative field.
- 1-3 years of market research experience, preferably in financial services or asset management.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in data analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in data visualization.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving business demands.
Nice to have
- Post-graduate degree in a business or quantitative subject (e.g., MBA).
- Completion of CSC, CAIP, CFA, CAIA, or CIM designations.
