Location: Must be based in Atlanta, GA or Downers Grove, IL with a hybrid work schedule (4 days/week in-office).

Salary: $220,000–$235,000 base/year.

What you will do

• Provide legal advice for investment products including REITs, ETFs, mutual funds, and closed-end funds.
• Support product development and distribution while ensuring compliance with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Securities Acts of 1933/1934.
• Advise on securities innovation, including capital markets tokenization, stablecoins, and digital asset offerings.
• Draft and maintain offering documents, registration statements, and regulatory disclosures.
• Partner with Finance and Compliance teams to address regulatory obligations.
• Engage with senior leadership and governing bodies to provide practical, commercially aligned legal guidance.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership required.
• 6–12 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong expertise in Securities Laws disciplines.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
