Senior Counsel (Securities Laws)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; workplace model requires at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office.

Salary: $220,000–$235,000 base per year for the Downers Grove position, plus incentive pay.

What you will do

• Provide legal advice on investment products, including publicly listed REITs, ETFs, mutual funds, closed-end funds, and other pooled vehicles.
• Support product development, structuring, and distribution under the Investment Company Act, Securities Act, and Securities Exchange Act.
• Advise on securities innovation, capital markets tokenization, stablecoins, and digital asset offerings.
• Draft and maintain offering documents, registration statements, disclosures, and memoranda for governing bodies.
• Partner with Finance, Compliance, Product, and business leaders on regulatory and disclosure obligations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and provide practical, commercially aligned legal guidance to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership required.
• 6–12 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong experience across securities law disciplines.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders and contributing to complex decision-making.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
