What you will do
- Own upstream marketing for the global hip portfolio, including market assessment, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and pricing.
- Define global market requirements and product roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
- Identify unmet customer and competitive needs and recommend portfolio strategy based on inputs from multiple sources.
- Translate business goals into clear product plans and build/defend business cases (pricing, investment needs, expected returns).
- Partner with R&D, clinical, regulatory, operations, and downstream teams to move programs from concept through development and launch.
- Support global product launches (positioning, messaging, pricing, collateral, field readiness) and monitor performance to adjust strategy.
Requirements
- Work authorization: Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States and be able to work without visa sponsorship now and in the future.
- 5+ years of upstream product management experience in the medical device industry (highly preferred).
- 2+ years of employee management experience (at least two more years beyond product management experience).
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time for domestic work-related assignments (typically 1–3 days).
- Experience developing marketing team members (if applicable) and a proven track record of execution across cross-functional teams.
