Finance Manager

What you will do

• Manage consistent financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with US and Australian GAAP.
• Lead the budget process, quarterly reviews, and month-end/year-end closing cycles.
• Oversee local, state, and federal government reporting, including tax and BAS lodgments.
• Analyze investment profitability and provide strategic financial advice to the leadership team.
• Provide training and guidance to the finance team to ensure efficient and timely operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (CPA/CA).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience with 5 years in a senior finance role.
• Must be an Australian citizen eligible for security clearance and ITAR access.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in multinational companies or the defense manufacturing industry.
• Advanced study in Accounting, Finances, or Taxes.
• Experience with QAD or OneStream financial reporting tools.
