TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Australia (Remote within the country); in-person onboarding is required.

What you will do
- Lead payroll operations across APAC and EMEA, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with global and local payroll vendors to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage payroll compliance calendars, track statutory requirements, and monitor regulatory changes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to strengthen audit readiness processes.
- Standardize international payroll processes, controls, and reporting to support global scalability.
- Lead and develop a distributed team, including employees in EMEA and contractors in the Philippines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing global or multi-country payroll operations.
- Expertise in international payroll compliance across APAC and EMEA jurisdictions.
- Experience leading distributed teams and partnering with global payroll vendors.
- Strong knowledge of payroll controls, audit requirements, and SOX-compliant processes.
- Must be based in Australia.

- Experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
- Experience supporting international expansion or new market entry initiatives.
- Management of equity, mobility, or expatriate payroll programs.
- Proficiency with Workday, ADP, and other global payroll platforms.
- Experience leading vendor consolidation or global process standardization.
