What you will do

• Lead negotiations and draft agreements for podcast talent, agencies, and production companies.
• Advise on commercial deals for monetisation and distribution across streaming and broadcast platforms.
• Support broader commercial activity including sponsorship, IP licensing, and consumer-facing terms.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice on content campaigns and new product propositions.
• Develop and maintain legal templates and guidance to improve team efficiency and risk management.
• Utilize legal technology and AI tools to enhance the quality and consistency of legal output.

Requirements

• 6+ years' PQE as a qualified solicitor with experience in media, IP, and commercial agreements.
• Strong background in podcasting, talent management, or digital content distribution.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a pragmatic, solutions-led approach.
• Ability to explain legal risk clearly to senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong matter management skills with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
• Must be based in London to work from the Holborn or Leicester Square offices.

Nice to have

• Experience in music licensing and technology agreements.
• Knowledge of consumer rights law and consumer-facing terms.
• Experience supporting corporate transactions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
