TL;DR

VP Institutional Sales (Fintech): Driving new business growth and expanding market share for institutional investment solutions with an accent on Western Ontario and Western Canada regions. Focus on building robust pipelines, securing new client relationships, and executing strategic account plans to advance hirify.global’s competitive position.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto office with a flexible hybrid schedule; travel required to Western Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 CAD base salary plus variable incentive compensation.

What you will do

  • Deliver funded new business that meets or exceeds annual sales targets.
  • Articulate hirify.global’s value proposition to investment prospects within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and qualify appropriate sales opportunities and cultivate relationships with consultants and plan sponsors.
  • Negotiate legal documents and contracts with new clients.
  • Collaborate across business units to provide leadership on account plans, events, and service standards.
  • Partner with internal departments including Portfolio Management, Legal, and Compliance to advance business relationships.

Requirements

  • Current work authorization for Canada is required.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in the investment management marketplace.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships at multiple organizational levels.
  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of institutional investments, pension industry, and financial products.
  • Ability to travel to Western Ontario and Western Canada regions.

Nice to have

  • Professional designations such as CFA or CSC.
  • MBA degree.
