What you will do
- Develop and maintain pressure systems compliance requirements across major engineering projects.
- Coordinate technical activities to keep pressure equipment compliant with regulations, engineering standards, and safety case requirements.
- Manage interfaces between engineering teams, suppliers, contractors, regulators, and project stakeholders.
- Review technical documentation and engineering deliverables, and manage compliance actions through to resolution.
- Monitor delivery risks, escalate issues, and support suppliers in meeting contractual and project requirements.
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure pressure equipment codes and standards are correctly applied.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer or equivalent, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
- Experience working on large-scale engineering projects or complex industrial assets.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry such as nuclear, power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, defence, or aerospace.
- Understanding of pressure systems, mechanical equipment, or asset integrity.
- Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.
- The role may require Security Clearance and completion of Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
Nice to have
- Nuclear industry experience and experience managing pressure systems compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of structural integrity principles and safety case environments.
- Working knowledge of ASME, RCC-M, PED, or related pressure equipment codes.
- Experience coordinating contractors and external suppliers.
