What you will do
- Drive revenue and exceed pipeline targets within the assigned geographic territory.
- Lead complex sales opportunities using the MEDDPICC methodology.
- Navigate government procurement rules and funding processes to guide customers through buying cycles.
- Build and maintain territory plans that align with strategic company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to increase awareness and streamline opportunity management.
- Present compelling business value propositions to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of field enterprise sales or business development experience in the public sector or enterprise software.
- Deep understanding of State & Local Government procurement and funding models.
- Must be based in the region with the ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
- Proficiency with enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Clari, and forecasting tools.
- Demonstrated mastery of MEDDPICC, account strategy mapping, and opportunity planning.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Technical background in CCaaS, UCaaS, APIs, or cybersecurity.
- Documented history of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Established network within public sector agencies.
