TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the region (New York, USA) with the ability to travel at least 25% as needed.

Salary: $111,700 - $196,300

What you will do

  • Drive revenue and exceed pipeline targets within the assigned geographic territory.
  • Lead complex sales opportunities using the MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Navigate government procurement rules and funding processes to guide customers through buying cycles.
  • Build and maintain territory plans that align with strategic company goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to increase awareness and streamline opportunity management.
  • Present compelling business value propositions to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of field enterprise sales or business development experience in the public sector or enterprise software.
  • Deep understanding of State & Local Government procurement and funding models.
  • Must be based in the region with the ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
  • Proficiency with enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Clari, and forecasting tools.
  • Demonstrated mastery of MEDDPICC, account strategy mapping, and opportunity planning.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Technical background in CCaaS, UCaaS, APIs, or cybersecurity.
  • Documented history of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • Established network within public sector agencies.
