Manager, IS Systems Development and Support (Fintech): Leading the modernization of core financial systems and managing technical teams with an accent on legacy platform transformation, cloud migration, and AI-native integration. Location: Must have current work authorization for Canada. Role is based in Toronto (moving to Mississauga in late 2026) with flexible hybrid/remote options.
Salary: $158,000 – $182,000 CAD

What you will do
- Lead the modernization of legacy core systems into resilient, agile, and AI-native platforms.
- Manage a group of technical resources including Senior Technical Analysts and Software Developers.
- Oversee project budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation for modernization initiatives.
- Act as the IS owner for assigned projects, ensuring design, development, and deployment meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology strategies with long-term business vision.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Must have current work authorization for Canada.
- University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of application development management experience within the Financial Industry.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
- Experience leading modernization of legacy platforms, including cloud migration and API enablement.
- Hands-on experience with agile methodology.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of PROGRESS OpenEdge.
- Experience in transfer agency systems.
