What you will do

• Lead the development of a next-generation data processing platform from the ground up.
• Architect and implement scalable systems to handle hundreds of billions of daily records.
• Migrate complex existing use cases into the new platform architecture.
• Provide operational support and ensure the reliability of production systems.
• Mentor and empower software engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Diagnose technical issues, debug code, and automate routine operational tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java, C++, or Go).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lead scaled initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Working knowledge of observability principles.
