Salary: $152,000 - $190,000

What you will do

• Design and build Go microservices for cluster lifecycle management, authentication, and platform orchestration.
• Develop Kubernetes-native operators, controllers, and jobs using controller-runtime.
• Integrate with internal platform components and external cloud provider APIs like AWS and GCP.
• Design database schemas and manage migrations for PostgreSQL to ensure data consistency.
• Write unit and integration tests to validate system changes against real clusters.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go with experience building production-grade services.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes internals, including pods, deployments, CRDs, and RBAC.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs with robust error handling and middleware.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management (PostgreSQL).
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no immigration sponsorship or relocation provided.

Nice to have

• Experience building Kubernetes operators using kubebuilder.
• Knowledge of Helm chart authoring and maintenance.
• Familiarity with security patterns like OIDC, mTLS, or credential brokering.
• Experience with observability tools and structured logging.
