Salary: $197,300 – $344,700

What you will do

• Design and develop highly scalable streaming and batch pipelines for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Implement Lakehouse solutions to enable production use cases.
• Improve service reliability and performance using AI-assisted and agentic tools.
• Automate dataset lifecycle management including schema evolution and metadata management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners as a technical lead on end-to-end initiatives.
• Mentor and coach engineers across the organization.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to undergo a background check for Govhirify.global authorization.
• 7+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• Experience with streaming and Lakehouse technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink, Spark, Iceberg, Hudi, Delta).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, Scala, or Go.
• Experience building distributed microservices with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Codex.
