TL;DR

Manager, Design (Real Estate): Leading interior design initiatives for global real estate and development projects with an accent on creative vision, space planning, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on managing the full design lifecycle from ideation to implementation while upholding corporate standards across a diverse portfolio.

Location: Must be based in Universal City, California (Hybrid: 4 days per week in-office required).

Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead interior design efforts for real estate projects from concept to execution.
  • Develop design concepts, renderings, and space plans using graphic storytelling.
  • Coordinate with internal business units, external consultants, and contractors.
  • Review project drawings, mock-ups, and material samples for quality and compliance.
  • Manage design strategy sessions and project presentations.
  • Maintain internal materials libraries and product literature.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field or 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in site, architectural, and interior design.
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional office or design firm.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time for domestic and international projects.
  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
