Sales Executive (Trading): Driving sales of trading solutions and expanding market presence within the buy-side landscape with an accent on institutional asset managers, wealth managers, and hedge funds. Focus on managing complex sales cycles, demonstrating deep knowledge of front-office execution workflows, and building strategic relationships with key decision-makers.

Location: Must be based in New York, USA (Hybrid work environment).

Compensation: $136,000 – $170,000

What you will do

  • Drive sales of LiquidityBook OMS, EMS, and FIX network solutions to buy-side clients.
  • Source and qualify new leads while managing the full sales cycle from demo to deal negotiation.
  • Execute evaluations and proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate product value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Development and Strategy teams, on deal structures.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with key client decision-makers and CXOs.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 6 years in a high-paced sales environment focused on trading platforms.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Deep knowledge of buy-side front-office trading, execution workflows, and market structure.
  • Proven track record of closing large revenue deals and managing strategic client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
