TL;DR

Sales Engineer (Fintech): Supporting the pre-sales process for asset management solutions with an accent on derivatives, valuation, and risk management. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 USD

What you will do

  • Support the pre-sales team in demonstrating front-to-back investment management solutions to hedge funds and asset managers.
  • Deliver tailored Proofs of Concept (POC) to meet specific customer functional and technical requirements.
  • Assist the sales team in completing complex RFPs and RFIs.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Portfolio Master solution during client meetings and presentations.
  • Document meeting minutes and track action items to ensure successful sales cycles.
  • Provide feedback to product management based on industry trends and client needs.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience with Portfolio, Order, or Risk Management solutions.
  • Strong background in derivatives, valuations, and OTC asset classes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint for data reporting and executive presentations.
  • BS/BA degree required.
  • Willingness to travel to client and prospect sites.
