What you will do

• Support senior engineers with generator model builds, verification activities, and data analysis.
• Prepare draft generator models and documentation for interconnection requests and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and project teams to review model inputs and assumptions.
• Verify generator models against substation schematics and inverter/turbine settings.
• Support model validation field tests and compliance activities related to NERC and IEEE standards.
• Identify and propose improvements for modeling workflows and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 0-3 years of experience with power system modeling software.
• Working knowledge of PowerWorld, PSSE, or PSLF.
• Understanding of inverter-based technology operations and control settings.
• Ability to read substation schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for technical discussions with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• PSCAD modeling experience.
• Familiarity with NERC MOD, PRC, and IEEE2800 standards.
