What you will do

• Develop and substantiate conceptual and 10% transmission line designs (69kV to 500kV).
• Review owner-provided RFP documentation, perform takeoffs, and identify engineering risks.
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to explore innovative materials and technologies.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure projects are cost-effective, constructible, and technically sound.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary group of engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• At least 5 years of design experience in the energy or construction industry.
• In-depth experience in transmission line design (69kV to 500kV) and PLS-CADD modeling.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for travel.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) License with an emphasis on Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with surveying and renewable energy projects.
