What you will do

• Maintain a continuous daily field presence as the primary on-site EHS client representative.
• Oversee General Contractor and subcontractor EHS performance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for high-risk construction activities.
• Lead incident investigations, preserve evidence, and ensure timely reporting of injuries or near-misses.
• Coordinate site-specific EHS orientations and deliver safety training to the workforce.
• Exercise stop-work authority for any activity presenting imminent danger or serious safety violations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US and able to work on-site at construction projects.
• Pathway A: Bachelor's degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or Engineering with 3–5 years of field EHS experience.
• Pathway B: 5–7 years of military or skilled trade experience combined with field safety responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and applicable state regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in construction risk assessments, JHAs, AHAs, and contractor performance management.
• Strong communication skills to influence contractor behavior and engage with all levels of the site workforce.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
• CHST, ASP, or CSP credential.
• Experience on hyperscale or enterprise data center construction projects.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
• Familiarity with Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
