What you will do

  • Ensure site activities comply with OSHA, NFPA, and NESC standards.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific safety strategies and hazard mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety training and lead weekly safety meetings for field personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance to project managers regarding high-risk activities like work at heights.
  • Engage directly with field teams to evaluate safety program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree in EHS or Construction Management preferred).
  • OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
  • 3+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in the electrical industry.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory record.
  • Physical ability to perform site inspections, including climbing and working at heights.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • BCSP Certification (ASP, CSP, or CHST).
  • CPR/First Aid Trainer status.
