Health and Safety Senior Specialist

What you will do

• Provide technical safety and health support to the site Operations team.
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training to employees.
• Develop and execute site safety improvement plans.
• Perform risk assessments and implement defenses against uncontrolled risks.
• Collaborate on LOTO procedures, standard work instructions, and process hazard analyses.
• Manage workplace injuries and near misses, including investigations and corrective actions.
• Participate in audits, regulatory inspections, and new product/process reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Environmental, or related field (or equivalent HSE experience).
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NEC, TCEQ regulations, and Texas Worker’s Compensation regulations.
• ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST or related HSE certification preferred.
• Problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel periodically and work independently in high-risk scenarios.
