Manager, Production Finance

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of four days per week in the Stamford, Connecticut office

What you will do

• Oversee budgeting, actualization, forecasting, and variance analysis across the full financial lifecycle of assigned sports productions.
• Partner with Sports Production and Operations teams as the primary finance contact and lead recurring budget meetings.
• Prepare cost analyses, financial summaries, pacing updates, estimates, long-range plans, annual budgets, and post-close reporting.
• Collaborate with Scheduling to align staffing plans with budget targets and identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Lead and develop two direct reports responsible for invoice processing, vendor coordination, budget actualization, show models, and forecasting updates.
• Support leadership with ad hoc analysis, deep-dive reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, functions, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with global ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• CPA, CORE, or similar experience.
