What you will do

• Execute molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA extractions, qPCR, and NGS platforms.
• Perform quality control on clinical samples and generate accurate data reports.
• Maintain laboratory reagents, consumables, and perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with scientists on assay qualification and procedure improvement.
• Ensure all laboratory operations adhere to CLIA, GLP, and GCP regulatory standards.
• Train new personnel on project-specific assays and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold freezer environments.
• Strong computational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience, preferably in an NGS core facility.
• MB (ASCP) certification.
• Experience with Illumina or Ion Torrent workflows.
• Knowledge of ddPCR, NanoString, and regulatory documentation (cGMP/ISO).
