What you will do

• Provide primary service response, troubleshooting, and repair for laboratory automation equipment in the Oncology lab.
• Execute routine maintenance and perform Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification (IOPQ) on equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
• Draft equipment operation and maintenance documentation following Good Document Practices (GDP).
• Suggest and implement process improvements to optimize laboratory workflows.
• Maintain an organized equipment parts inventory and detailed service records.

Requirements

• BS degree in a scientific discipline.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA.
• For Associate II: 1+ years of experience servicing Liquid Handlers, or 2+ years in a technical service role.
• Familiarity with coding language basics and flow control logic.
• Understanding of clinical laboratory assays and their practical applications.
• Strong attention to detail and working knowledge of Good Document Practices (GDP).

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting liquid handler scripts.
• General programming and coding experience.
• Experience working within a CLIA regulated environment.
• Ability to develop training programs and perform knowledge transfer.
