What you will do

• Design, model, fabricate, and characterize microfluidic devices for cell and tissue engineering.
• Lead teams of engineers in the development of new bioengineering technologies and devices.
• Execute laboratory research plans, including experimental design, assay execution, and data analysis.
• Document results, provide technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposal development and generate new project concepts for sponsors.
• Mentor less experienced bioengineers and assist in developing internal technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in bioengineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Expertise in microfabrication techniques and microfluidic device design, fabrication, and testing.
• Strong foundation in biology and engineering principles with excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with organ-on-chip and tissue engineering applications.
• Knowledge of molecular and cellular assays such as qPCR and flow cytometry.
